Data Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday stated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was Pakistan’s largest buying and selling companion within the Center East.
“1.6 million Pakistanis dwelling within the UAE is the second largest inhabitants of Pakistanis abroad,” he stated whereas speaking to UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi who known as on him right here.
The minister congratulated the envoy for UAE’s plan to organise the mega-event ‘Expo 2020 Dubai’.
The expo would have a “distinctive” Pakistani pavilion, he stated, including that the ministries of commerce and knowledge have been making preparations to take part within the expo.
On the state of affairs within the area, Fawad stated that peace in Afghanistan was within the curiosity of the area.
