Punjab governor accepts Buzdar’s resignation as chief minister


LAHORE:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Usman Buzdar’s resignation as the chief minister of Punjab has been permitted, following which the Punjab cupboard was once dissolved.

A complete of 127 lawmakers, together with PPP and PML-N MPAs, signed the no-trust movement. The lawmakers maintained that the CM had misplaced majority fortify as issues bearing on the province weren’t being handled constitutionally and democratically.

Previous this week, the premier presented the Punjab chief minister’s slot to PML-Q chief Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the incumbent provincial meeting speaker.
